A Vocal Exercise Gem

When you are feeling tension in your throat, try this great vocal exercise:

Pretend to laugh. That’s right. Make like you are about to split a gut. Give the belly a good jiggle & relish the vibration. Open that mouth wide. Bend over in silent hilarium. Then relax. Breathe. Feel how the stretch of the mouth released tension in the face. Feel how the impulse to laugh lightened the heart.

Oh, go ahead. You know you want to. Laugh!
